Kurt Vile & The Violators

Monday 7th September

On 7th September, Kurt Vile & The Violators head to The Prospect Building bringing their hazy blend of slacker rock and psychedelic Americana. Led by Kurt Vile himself, the band’s laid-back grooves and sprawling guitar work have earned them a devoted following, with live shows that drift effortlessly between introspection and loose-limbed jams.

Invisible Circus - The Return of the Renegade Fabulon

Invisible Circus - The Return of the Renegade Fabulon

Thursday 10th September

The Invisible Circus returns with the resurrection of The Renegade Fabulon, the riotous circus cabaret that first put the company on the map over twenty years ago.

For one night, The Prospect Building's vast industrial architecture will be transformed into a riot of circus spectacle, fearless cabaret, breathtaking aerial performance and musical accompaniment, all delivered with the joyful irreverence that has become The Invisible Circus's trademark.

Born in the mud, magic and mayhem of Lost Vagueness at Glastonbury Festival in 2002, The Renegade Fabulon went on to tour internationally, gathering performers from a decade of the company's travels before culminating at Burning Man in 2005. It became one of the defining productions of the UK’s alternative cabaret revival.

The performance marks 30 years of The Invisible Circus and follows the loss of the company's long-time creation space at nearby Unit 15. Returning to St Philip's feels less like a comeback and more like coming home.

Dance Gavin Dance

Dance Gavin Dance

Friday 11th September

Dance Gavin Dance land in the Crane room at The Prospect Building on 11th September for a headline set that’s anything but predictable. Twisting between chaos and control, the band’s sound veers from jagged riffs to smooth, melodic hooks without warning - keeping the crowd on edge in the best way. It’s technical, it’s emotional, and it hits hard live.

Support comes from As December Falls.
