2026 Music Series At The Prospect Building

Coming up

SUNN O)))
SUNN O))) bring their seismic, bone-rattling wall of drone to our Crane room on 28th June, transforming the space into a cathedral of towering amps and ritualistic distortion.
Formed in 1998 by Stephen O'Malley and Greg Anderson as an homage to Earth, the band have spent decades redefining heavy music through landmark releases and collaborations, building a reputation for immersive performances that blur the line between concert and sonic ceremony.

Thee Sacred Souls
San Diego’s modern soul revivalists Thee Sacred Souls bring their warm, timeless sound to The Prospect Building on 16th July, taking over the Main Room for a live performance sure to deliver. Blending 60s-inspired soul with heartfelt storytelling and effortlessly smooth grooves, they’ve crafted a style that feels both nostalgic and freshly alive. From tender slow-burners like “Can I Call You Rose?” to the velvet swing of “Weak for Your Love,” their catalogue moves between intimacy and uplift with ease.

Rum & Reggae Festival
After unforgettable shows across the UK, Rum & Reggae Fest is bringing the sunshine straight to Bristol for a full day of island vibes, good food, and unbeatable music.
We’re rolling out an incredible lineup of live acts guaranteed to bring the heat. The legendary David Rodigan, the sensational The Skints and the ‘incredible’ General Levy. Expect heavyweight sounds from Don Letts and Reggae Roast ft. Mr Williamz, who will shake the dancefloor with dub-heavy basslines and carnival spirit. Feel the soul of Bob Marley with Tanni Browne & The One Love Orchestra, and experience the local flavour of Bristol Hi Fi, representing the city’s deep reggae roots. Holding it all together is our host for the day, the one and only Solo Banton, bringing charisma, big vibes, and endless energy from start to finish.
But the music is just the beginning. Expect tropical rum cocktails, Caribbean punch bars, and authentic Jamaican street food. But also enjoy the carnival dancers, fire eaters & stilt walkers, craft stalls, fairground rides, and roaming entertainment. This is the island experience you've been dreaming of!
